I started playing poker 10 years ago in a Redtooth poker pub league. I had never played poker before so the rest of the table kindly taught me. After my first game I was hooked on it!! I wanted to learn more about the game and what made a winning player – form there I’ve never looked back. Now I play in tournaments all over the U.K and when I can I try to get out to Las Vegas to play cash games.

I was playing a lot in casino’s up until September 2018 however last year I decided to develop my property so had to cut the poker back. I’m now back playing a few pub games which I enjoy and I’m back to studying again in order to improve my game.

I’m hoping to get back playing more than once a week in bigger tournaments, then eventually 3 times a week again. I’ve had some good results at Victoria Gate Casino – Leeds, DTD – Nottingham and I’ve also run well at Grosvenor – BNR. The first time I played at the Golaith I cashed which was a good feeling and hopefully the studying pays off to win it this year.
